What closing costs should you expect?

There are certain normal costs accompanying closing the sale of a house. These costs are usually divided between the buyer and seller, as noted in the sales contract. Many are conventional, but there are nuances to each, so you'll want a real estate expert to help lead you through your process.

  • Points (as per your agreement with your lender - paying points reduces the loan's interest rate)

Buyers: If you are buying a house in Orange County, your lender is required to give you a "Good Faith Estimate" (GFE) of closing costs within three days of submitting your loan application. We'll review it thoroughly to be sure it is accurate, and you'll know what to expect at closing time.   I'll assist you in addressing any concerns you have with your lender, title, and other escrow issues.
